My fiancé paid between $4000-5000 for my engagement ring from Hearts on Fire, platinum is the strongest from my understanding and just a little after a year of wearing it bent and one of the diamonds fell out? Now the jeweler said that Hear on Fire want $1600 more because they said theming is damaged? This seems unbeilievable customer service and quality for the amount of money that was paid for the ring. Isn't the ring suppose to last a lifetime?

We received an unsolicited email asking us to sign a petition and donate to require insurance companies to justify rate increases. The best "sales tool" you could use would be to disclose the profit margin of the health insurance companies and show that it is excessive. Yet nowhere in the email or linked sites was this mentioned. If the companies are making windfall profits and still increasing rates, I would support reform. However, I've read that health insurance companies are not making excessive profits compared to similar sized publicly traded companies.
