Vito - Los Angeles, CA - Uber Drivers leave Guests stranded at LAX if their ride isn't long enough

This is an on-going issue with LAX's policies related to Transportation Network Providers at the airport and specifically Uber's unwillingness to improve. If you've ever come into LAX and have a destination relatively near the airport Uber you will know this pain. Uber drivers will call you from the off-site parking demand to know your destination and then cancel your ride if they don't think its worth their time. This will sometimes take up 45 additional minutes simply to connect you to a driver and in some cases hold you hostage to promising a tip to the driver just to not cancel you. I spoken to drivers who say they sometimes will hold out forcing the rider to cancel creating a situation where Uber automatically charges the guest a termination fee. I realize that this is not the biggest tragedy of the year, but Uber's/LAX's unwillingness to respond to the problem is leading to more travel headaches and more travel congestion as drivers just continue clog the airport. The advertised convenience is a myth.
