Access to Justice
The legal system has more than its share of problems. It can be time-consuming, frustrating, expensive, emotionally-draining, and, at times, unreasonable. Still, the judiciaary has been the only remaining branch of government where the average person can reasonably expect to routinely succeed at taking on the rich and powerful.
In many cases, big corporations have succeeded at limiting their liability, effectively stripping individuals of their rights to trial and to recover damages from corporations. Consumer Watchdog works to protect the rights of individuals to hold corporations accountable in court.
