The Capitol Alert has details this morning of Senate leader Don Perata’s weekend fundraising event, the Pro Tem Cup at the Four Seasons Resort Aviara in North County San Diego. A golfing weekend for one or many, the cheapest package will run you 10 grand, and the most expensive "platinum" package:

The golf is spread out along the peninsula’s numerous courses, including Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and the Links at Spanish Bay. The nice thing about Pebble Beach is that, for just the cost of the 17 mile drive gate fee (I think it’s $8), anyone can wander in. When I find them, I’ll post a few of the pictures I took at last year’s Speaker’s Cup.
