The 2013 Rage For Justice Awards were held  Saturday, June 15 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel, in Beverly Hills, CA.

Honorees included Chris Moore - the director who brought Howard Zinn’s history of American activism to film; Bob Pack - a father who turned personal tragedy into a campaign for patient safety; Mark P. Robinson, Jr - a legal legend of Ford Pinto fame; and Kay McVay - a “Modern Florence Nightingale.”

Consumer Watchdog hosts the Rage for Justice Awards to honor the heroes and heroines of the public interest movement. The awards are named after Congressman Phillip Burton, one of the most productive and driven progressive legislators in American history. His story is told in John Jacobs’ acclaimed book A Rage for Justice.
