Google Grilled on Anti-Trust, What About Privacy?

The Alyona Show – RT AMERICA NEWS — Google CEO Eric Schmidt had to testify at an anti-trust hearing on Capitol Hill yesterday. The name of the hearing was: "The Power of Google: Serving Consumers or Threatening Competition?" After other companies complained lawmakers questioned if the search engine giant is cooking its results to send users its own online services first. But the advocacy group Consumer Watchdog thinks that it's the fact that Google is gathering a huge trove of personal information, much of it without consumers' knowledge that should really be scrutinized. Consumer Watchdog's Carmen Balber, explains.
